[ he's startled enough that she does push him back a little, and he just takes a step or two back of his own to give her space, hands raised as if in surrender. ]

Hey, Anise, it's okay. [ voice soft, trying to calm her down even though he has no clue what's happening. but kazuki had some lingering effects from his own mission, so it isn't entirely surprising that she might, too. ] You're okay. I'm not going to fight you, alright?

[ she's still for a bit. there's an almost glassy look in her eyes, like she's not fully present...

and then she shudders and takes a step back. ]

I get it. I had hallucinations after our mission. It might last a few days, but it'll go away.

Have you noticed how all of Scrap's special items kind of have the same effect?

Some kind of energizing, you mean? I don't know if that's going to take the edge off.

Yeah... energizing, rejuvenation, stuff like that...

... I was thinking that maybe it can counter some of the weird effects of CEM waves.

...It's worth a shot. Did you manage to get some for this week? I've tried before, but I'm always a little too late.
