[ Anise can be seen in the lounge! She's wearing her Nuts & Bolts sweats and has a cute(?) doll hanging off her shoulders.

She picks up some pillows off the floor and sets them neatly on a sofa nearby, fluffing them idly. The emotional vibe is "trying to do something meaningless to try not to think too hard about dead twinks." But she does mutter something to herself, while she thinks no one's listening. ]

Stupid Luke...

shouxue's emotional vibes aren't anything too out there. she feels more or less fine. ]

[ shouxue is checking out the new locations on the ship, and she's in the hippitea shop, trying the boba and macarons they're serving.

she's collecting her new goods when she sees anise. ]

Do you have anything like this on your world, Anise?

[ she shakes her head! ]

No way, nothing this fancy! I probably couldn't afford it, even if we did... [ she's looking over the bunny-shaped sweets...... so cute... ]

What about you, Shouxue?

[ she shakes her head, too. ]

It's usually whatever can be made in the kitchen. I receive tea and baked goods and other sweets, but it's nothing like this.

Try one of the sweets with me.

Oh, the macarons! We should try these. Wow, they even made some of them rabbit-shaped...

[ hehe! she will grab several. anise is counting everything that goes on their tab to get subtracted from their stipend in the end. ]

Week 2, Friday

[ sometime on friday, after the notices have gone out, anise can be found in the observation lounge. she's standing by one of the large windows with a hand pressed against the glass. in her other arm, she holds Tokunaga tightly. ]

I can't see the planet anymore... I guess it's already far behind us.

[ her tone doesn't have its usual energy and cheer, but that's probably to be expected. ]

[ shouxue keeps her distance. maybe anise wants to be alone? ]

... If only there were other things we could leave behind.

[ like murder. sorry shouxue doesn't know how to bring the mood up. she also is unhappy. ]

[ she looks away from the stars, and gives shouxue a little smile. ]

Like whatever's really causing all of this? Yeah...

I want to be away with it.

Week 2, Saturday

[ anise is showing up at the brig! she's quiet at first, and a little wary, but she'll come over to see shouxue. ]

Looks like we did it again...

I mean, made a total mess of things and found the answer anyway.

[ she comes out with that, but she'll take a look at shouxue. how's she looking... ]

[ she looks like a wilted flower because all her flower transformation effects look like they're wilted. she's seated, knees up, arms around them, but otherwise, her expression is more or less impassive as she looks up at anise. ]

You did. It's good that you all pulled through at the last minute.
